Well it's official, Christmas is over, did Santa bring you everything you wanted? NO? Me neither.
Anyway this is the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas SBS Challenge and I am getting this in at the last minute. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas with no Bad Santas. See you in the New Year

Non Traditional Christmas

I am so excited to share this card with you! This is the first time I have colored up one of my New Sweetpea Images, isn't she just lovely! The image is called Shining on. I've been wanting to do a card in browns and I think it turned out pretty good, the image is so beautiful it doesn't matter that my coloring is a bit off. LOL!

There is glitter on this card but alas it just doesn't photograph well. (or I need a better camera )
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

12 Days of Christmas Day 10

Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin laid an egg, the Batmobile lost a wheel and the Joker got away! HEY!

It's  day 10 and today the challenge was to create a project with any SBS images and turn them into Christmas Carolers... or if you would please... SCARE-olers! I used this fun little verse from Carmen's Veranda Stamps (out of business?)
I have had it for 15 years! YIKES!
This was the perfect opportunity to use it.

12 Days of Christmas Day 9

Today the challenge was the ghost of Christmas past. I went with a masculine feel for the card and used Mercius as my ghost and Damien as my Scrooge. I used rock candy distress stickles around Mercius, it blurred the ink but I like how it looks, ghoustly.

All I want for Christmas is... My Emos!

12 Days of Christmas Day 7
So todays challenge was to incorporate any SBS My Kids Emo image with your Christmas project,
and to use this color combo: Purple, Lime Green, and Turquoise!

Betty has been going around her house singing "All I want for Christmas is You!" it's one of her favorite songs and I love that song too, but I don't sing. Every time my husband asks me what I want for Christmas, every year, I answer "YOU!". So this was a fun card to make, I used shy little Prezzies for Lola Digi, isn't she cute! Thanks for looking!

12 Days of Christmas Day 6

The Children all snug in their beds, while visions of Steampunks danced in their heads!

The challenge was to create a Merry Steampunk project for day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge. This is my very first steampunkish card and I really like how it turned out. I love the vintage feel. I would have liked to use some gears instead of the metal flowers, but I didn't have any. I just happened to buy some Steampunk Debutante Papers from Graphic 45 last week so I guess I got lucky there! I was really excited to use Emma from the Steampunk Gang by SBS, she is a beauty! Thanks for Looking!

Ohhh, He's the Oogie Boogie Man!

It wouldn't be Christmas at The Burtonesque Dolls without the most beloved Burton Villain Oogie Boogie! We challenge you to create a Christmas Project and include your version of the Oogie Boogie Man!

I had a lot of fun making this card, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for Mr. Boogie. If you are familiar with Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Holiday then you know where the inspiration for this card came from. It's one of my favorite parts of the ride! Enjoy!

I Witch you a Merry Christmas...

It's Day 5 of The 12 Days of Christmas and today we were challenged to use our favorite SBS Witch for the Holidays. I went with Witch Betty of course! I used the Christmas Tree from Rio trimming the tree, I think they paired up nicely.

The prize today is really cool, the winner gets to pick a personalized Digi, very cool! I don't think that this card will be a winner today, but I just love playing along. And I am doing all 12 days so I can be in the running for the Design Team Guest spot for January, wish me luck! Thanks for looking!

Merry Grinch-mas?

It's day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge at Simply Betty Stamps and what's Christmas without The Grinch! We have been challenged to create a Grinch-mas project.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge!

The 12 Days of Christmas Challenge has started at Simply Betty Stamps, one of my favorite stamp companies as you well know! Day one is create a Christmas card using a SBS Halloween image.

I used Fairy Elaine from the Victorian Beauties Halloween Collection, she makes a good snow princess. I'm not sure that you can tell from the pictures but I used a lot of Diamond Sparkles to glitter her up. The white background paper is also glittery as well as the blue snowflake. Thanks for looking!

Ready Set Snow!

Ready set snow! Not even close, not here in Southern California, unless your up in the mountains. Wouldn't it be fun to have a race holding a snow man, kinda like those spoon egg races you have at easter?

Anyway this card was made for Lil Lolita Challenges, the theme was Anything Goes Christmas Style. I used Lil Christmas Frankie and made him a little bit of a misfit, with his black hair and black and white tights.

Do that Voodoo that you do...

I couldn't help myself, I just had to use this line with Drucilla from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I have always loved this song and it was just bouncing around in my head as I made this card today.

I am entering this card in Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Funky Fibers Challenge and Cute Card Thursday Sketch Challenge 139. Although my idea of cute is kinda creepy. ;)

Simply Betty Stamps Challenge #6

Thanksgiving place cards are challenge #6 at SBS Challenge Blog this week. I Love Thanksgiving it's a nice day filled with family and my other Love FOOD! It's a day that you can just enjoy without the stress of gift giving. Although if you are the one cooking the turkey then you may be stressed ( Thanks Auntie, Love your Turkey). I am charge of the rolls every year so that is not hard at all. Anyway I hope whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not that you all have a great day and enjoy your family. I can't believe it's next week.

So here are the place cards I came up with for the boys, my husband Matthew and our Godson Sebastian. I used adorable Thanksgiving Jude for Sebastian's place card and ultra cute Thanksgving Peter for my Husband's. I will have to come up with some place cards for the ladies and my uncle as well. Notice I used my New Spellbinder Nestabilities Labesls Seventeen to cut out the place cards? Gotta Love those Nesties. Thanks for looking!

Twinkle, twinkle...

Little Bat! I know, I know it's the dormouse's line not the Hatter's but I was dying to use this image from The Octopode Factory. I wanted to use it for The Burtonesque Dolls challenge this week and thought he would look great Burtonized! I altered his hair to make him a bit more Johnny like. I also wanted to do a Oh, Alice! challenge since I have not done that in awhile and I almost missed out on Halloween in Wonderland! GASP! But don't worry I got it in just in time. Enjoy!

On the 12th Day of Halloween...

My Ghoul Love gave to me 12 Witches Cackling! Can you believe Halloween is over :( and so is the 12 Days of Halloween Challenge.

I left the best for last, Witch Betty of course! I created a 12 Days of Halloween box to hold all my creations for the challenge. My original design was going to include the 12 days poem but my computer decided to crash yesterday so had to change it up a bit. When you open the lid and see Witch Betty you hear a ghoulish cackle coming form the box, courtesy of a cackling coffin I placed on the bottom of the box. All and all I was pleased how it turned out. Hope you enjoyed it!
