Merry Grinch-mas?

It's day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge at Simply Betty Stamps and what's Christmas without The Grinch! We have been challenged to create a Grinch-mas project.

One of my favorite parts of the Rhyme/Movie is The Grinch's dog Max, poor puppy! I just had to use that as my inspiration. I used the cute little puppy from SBS Betty image and Ba Hum Bug Christian as my Grinch. Thanks for looking!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge!

The 12 Days of Christmas Challenge has started at Simply Betty Stamps, one of my favorite stamp companies as you well know! Day one is create a Christmas card using a SBS Halloween image.

I used Fairy Elaine from the Victorian Beauties Halloween Collection, she makes a good snow princess. I'm not sure that you can tell from the pictures but I used a lot of Diamond Sparkles to glitter her up. The white background paper is also glittery as well as the blue snowflake. The Burtonesque Dolls

This is my first post as a Burtonesque Doll!! This weeks Challenge is to use this beautiful sketch by Cheri

As my very first Design Team Card I decided to use Mercius from Simply Betty Stamps, he looks like a handsome Mad Hatter. I went with a lot of distressing and made everything a bit off center because "We're all mad here!"

Ready Set Snow!

Ready set snow! Not even close, not here in Southern California, unless your up in the mountains. Wouldn't it be fun to have a race holding a snow man, kinda like those spoon egg races you have at easter?

Anyway this card was made for Lil Lolita Challenges, the theme was Anything Goes Christmas Style. I used Lil Christmas Frankie and made him a little bit of a misfit, with his black hair and black and white tights.

What Part of Princess....

This Pea colored Princess is for the Tiddly Inks Challenge "Pretty Fall Princesses" using fall colors and a background. This image is so cute it's called Everyday Princess and the background is Castle in the Sky. I typed up the sentiment on my computer to give her some extra attitude! Thanks for looking!

Do that Voodoo that you do...

I couldn't help myself, I just had to use this line with Drucilla from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I have always loved this song and it was just bouncing around in my head as I made this card today.

I am entering this card in Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Funky Fibers Challenge and Cute Card Thursday Sketch Challenge 139. Although my idea of cute is kinda creepy. ;)

Simply Betty Stamps Challenge #6

Thanksgiving place cards are challenge #6 at SBS Challenge Blog this week. I Love Thanksgiving it's a nice day filled with family and my other Love FOOD! It's a day that you can just enjoy without the stress of gift giving. Although if you are the one cooking the turkey then you may be stressed ( Thanks Auntie, Love your Turkey). I am charge of the rolls every year so that is not hard at all. Anyway I hope whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not that you all have a great day and enjoy your family. I can't believe it's next week.

So here are the place cards I came up with for the boys, my husband Matthew and our Godson Sebastian. I used adorable Thanksgiving Jude for Sebastian's place card and ultra cute Thanksgving Peter for my Husband's. I will have to come up with some place cards for the ladies and my uncle as well. Notice I used my New Spellbinder Nestabilities Labesls Seventeen to cut out the place cards? Gotta Love those Nesties. Thanks for looking!

How Distressing!

This weeks challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog was to use distressing. I decided on a distressed Snow White card. I just love this stamp, and I thought the sentiment "Don't Tempt Me" was just perfect. So Cheeky!

Twinkle, twinkle...

Little Bat! I know, I know it's the dormouse's line not the Hatter's but I was dying to use this image from The Octopode Factory. I wanted to use it for The Burtonesque Dolls challenge this week and thought he would look great Burtonized! I altered his hair to make him a bit more Johnny like. I also wanted to do a Oh, Alice! challenge since I have not done that in awhile and I almost missed out on Halloween in Wonderland! GASP! But don't worry I got it in just in time. Enjoy!

On the 12th Day of Halloween...

My Ghoul Love gave to me 12 Witches Cackling! Can you believe Halloween is over :( and so is the 12 Days of Halloween Challenge.

I left the best for last, Witch Betty of course! I created a 12 Days of Halloween box to hold all my creations for the challenge. My original design was going to include the 12 days poem but my computer decided to crash yesterday so had to change it up a bit. When you open the lid and see Witch Betty you hear a ghoulish cackle coming form the box, courtesy of a cackling coffin I placed on the bottom of the box. All and all I was pleased how it turned out. Hope you enjoyed it!
